Can I keep my OEM flywheel when changing the clutch on my 1999 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro. Or should it also be replaced? If the flywheel needs to be changed too then can it just be resurfaced instead? Thanks in advance for any support.

I'm not an expert with audi drivetrains.... but when i got transmission work done to my car, i also got a new clutch and wanted to resurface my flywheel, but the transmsission shop said that my flywheel couldn't be resurfaced because its a special type. I dont know if he was screwing me over or not, but you might not be able to resurface it. and audi wants over 500 for a new one. good luck.
