Hi Unfortunately I'm used to miles per gallons... I shouldnt be being an engineer, but there you go.
Anyway, I converted into miles per gallon, and the answer is 20mpg for your car, bearing in mind that my 1.8 20V A4 (2WD) will return 27-30 mpg normal driving (not motorway), then I think you have nothing to worry about. It sounds quite good to get 20mpg from a 2.8 Q. If the consumption you're talking about is motorway/highway driving, i.e constant speed, 60-80 mph, then I'd consider looking further into it. Hope it helps. PS: if you have a look at the sticker in your car manual if you have it (where you'd look for the paint code), there shold be a number near it that tells you what the car should consume when new. Make allowances for age, but it should give you a rough indication.
