Hi A8 ,
Well what a tale of woe...... went out this morning and the f***g car is the same, so I have been advised by the garage that it needs a new throttle body so I've ordered that and waiting for them to do it. Thanks for all your help and input on the lead thing I am seriously thinking of getting one from vag-com they seem to do one for the serious enthusiast so I may get one because I am working my way up to an S4 probably in the same body style as I have now.
