Default CV Joint & Gaitor Replacement Advice

Hi

When I Changed the oil at the weekend I had a good look round under my A4 2.4 1998 and found a ripped rubber Gaitor and movement in the osf cv joint... So I need to buy and fit a replacement ...

Can anyone recommend anywhere I might find a walk through on how to do it?

I'm in the UK and there doesnt seem to be a Haynes Manual that covers the A4 2.4 V6 1998 Model .... A shop suggest I buy the VW Passat V6 manual for chassis/engine work and the Audi A4 1998 4 cylinder manual to cover the rest! (Do I really have to buy two books?)

Secondly .... can anyone recommend a good source for a replacement cv joint and gaitor?

Thanks
