Help: My Engine blew up!

I have 2001 Audi A4 1.8T with 150,000 Miles.

A couple days ago my engine blue off.

Should I replace the engine for around $3.000 with parts and labor?
Or should I just sell it to Junk Yard for $200 ~ $500.

You got a 2001 A4 then you would be mad to scrap it if the rest of the is OK I would hunt around for an engine and find out what part of the engine needs replacing as you may only need a half block rather than a full engine.

Depends what has "gone" on your engine tbh.

Probably too good to scrap in my opinion
