Default dim display

I've got a 2000 s4 that I have chipped. The main led display( stereo, temp., trip comp.) gets really dim after driving for about an hour. Is there a fix and can someone with modest skills do the job. Also just started having my ABS and Brake light turn on w/buzzer. Has only happened twice. Had front brakes replaced 6 mo. ago rear brakes were in great shape. Plenty of fluid. Any ideas. Thanks any info would be great. Steve

I know with the A4 the dash goes out a lot with how the lights display and such. Not sure if the S4 would be to similar or not. Sorry if its not much help.
