Folks,
Been a guest on the forum for a few weeks now but finally got the finger out and registered! Great site by the way and very informative.... I'm located in Scotland, UK and own a 99 Audi S4. Because of our greedy government, and the cost of living being ridiculously high, I've not done much to the car at the moment. However, I'm having a Milltek system fitted at the end of the week, a BMC panel filter and a remap. Hopefully be pushing 320+ horses ![]() Anyway, enough about me. I'm looking for a picture/illustration/guide to locating the throttle body boot which I hear is prone to going. I have a replacement sitting waiting to be fitted. I've done a quick search but I'm having no joy..... Sean |

hi Sean
the item you have waiting to be fitted is nice and simple, as you open the bonnet you see the two intercooler pipes meeting in the middle at the top of the engine right at the front you can see there is a small engine cover with the 2.7 logo on it ,if you take that off the hose your looking for is located under there were the two intercooler pipes join, may i also suggest you take the opportunity to clean out the throttle body from any carbon deposits and oily build up it will help the idle and start up if its dirty. i hope this helps if you have any questions ask away and i will do my best to help cheers jas |
