Shaky problem?

Hi all, my first post - and of course I'm bringing you a problem!!

I have a 2001 2.0 A4 multitronic with 51k on the clock. I've never had any real probs with it but today I started it up and the whole car has started shaking slightly whilst idling.
The rev counter flicks about ever so slightly too - around the 1000/1250 mark.

I still continued on my motorway journey and all seemed fine while I was moving but as soon as I got to my destination and put the car in "park" the shaking/juddering started again.

Any ideas??

have you checked your spark plugs?

may be the spark plugs... I change mine every 40,000 miles

Try cleaning the throttle body
