Default beep from dash when ignition is turned on

i get this beep from the dash and under mileage 1n 2 appears for 1 min or so is this normal

the thing is this noise has always happened but after today i had the dash out changing some dash bulbs and now i have the airbag light on now i changed 9 bulbs in total and unsure if 1 was the airbag one have i moved something or damaged something

any ideas welcome

The only thing I can think of is your speed alert is on. Does it happen when you get to a certain speed, and does an alert come onto the screen?

Apparently the "1n2" thing is a service reminder...

As for the air bag light... did you remove the steering wheel when you took the gauges out? Maybe you forgot to re-connect the air bag?

well thanks for the answer to the message on screen and no didnt take steering wheel of but might have caught some plug as it was hard to navigate around top off steering column will have a look and check as the fact i ony took it out to change my instument lighting as 6 had blown and now i have an even more anoying light looking at me

Does your 'low fuel' light still come on, as this also gives you a warning tone when you switch on the ignition.

yes this works fine im told yes it is the service indicator as i do oil water and filters myself i need to look into how to get this reset

tried this les but mine is a 1996 quattro no spanner function there that i can see
