Default main bean light not working?

i'll try to explain this clearly.....
my n/s main beam light does not work
the o/s side does

when i swapped the bulbs over, again the n/s didnt work & o/s did
so the bulb is ok

the n/s plug is pulling around 11.5v, like the o/s

what is wrong?

this problem started after fitting my new clear headlights, but i am 99% sure the main beam worked after fitting, as i checked every bulb on my car, even the rears as i hadnt checked them for ages

Did you have to alter the headlight connector on your loom?

If you had to change to the later 'D' shaped connector, it can be pretty easy to wire in the fog light, instead of the main beam.

If they were plug and play, check the pins on all the connectors.

The n/s main beam circuit can not be intact and drawing power.

turns out that i must have bent 1 of the pins in the plug slightly when fitting them!
they now work
