Default a4 turbo no power

hi im new to the forum so probably wont make much sense. iv recently bought an r reg a4 1.8 turbo sport which has covered 84k. its a nice car but after going in a friends realised its well under powered iv read memory and it has fault codes 00575 and code17972 i believe the second code is a throttle actuator fault could any one tell me if replacing the sensor should cure the problem i have or if there is likely to be a wiring fault.thanks for your help.
