Hi all,

I've had my S4 for a few years now (just passed 100K miles) but I'm new to this forum. I'm not a tuner and am only interested in keeping my lovely car going for as long as possible with minimal expense. I've had some rather expensive service in the past and am again faced with lots of issues. I've had some bad/incorrect advice from various service professionals after ditching the dealership b/c it was too far away, very expensive, and not very responsive/available. But I've got better access and lower cost at the expense of reliable advice.

I've looked through the last few months of posts on this site and found some good information (most notably some other gripes about recurring front suspension problems - I've replaced several control arms and I'm told we need to do this yet again). But I'm looking for some good links to sites with compiled information about problems with my car, updated service recommendations (e.g. when do I REALLY need to replace my timing belt? It seems that the recommended mileage has changed a few times since my car was built), etc. Looking through these posts is helpful, but some other resources would be appreciated.
