induction kits

thinking of fitting an induction kit to my 1.8i to try and improve the throttle responce to her (couple of extra horses wouldn't be bad either) any recomendations aprt from k&n i should maybe try. trouble is i not got round to getting a new exuast yet and i'm worried all the noise is gonna come from the front, how noisey are they??

Evo Ms makes a really nice intake setup. Not noisey at all. The Carbino intakes from APR are very nice too. Plus they look really cool. As far as a K&N goes....don't. They're a crappy made gauze filter.
