Importing a 1998 Audi S4

Hey folks,

I just moved to the US from Germany and would LOVE to bring my heavily modified (R)S4 Audi, but the 1998 Model was never sold in the US.

Anyone made experiences importing such car?

all i can say is that it's goin to be very pricy!!! and it has to be able to pass emissions.

Well shipping will be around £700-1000 but it will be the import duty that may kill you. The cheapest place to ship is I think CA LA but then the emission laws are a killer so I would look to ship it to another state that have more relaxed laws but then again German regulations are quite strict anyway.
