Default dumb mistake! need help plz

so the other day i was in a hurry to leave and i get in my car and the battery was dead. so i got the cables and hooked them up in a hurry and get in to start it and nothing happens so i look up and my jumper cables are smoking. (my dumbass hooked up the cables backwards on my car but not the other)so i get out and take them off real quick and burned myself. but anyway now my car wont start, my first thoughts were that my ecm was fried but i started with the simple stuff first. i checked all the fuses on the side of the dash and they were all fine. my lights turn on and my stereo works. the car will even turn over but for some reason the fuel pump only has 1.5 v at the pump and there is no spark. i also tried using one of the scanners from autozone to try and interact with the ecm but it came up with an error, and i used it on my girlfriends car and it read the ecm fine. so i got a ecm from the junkyards and that didnt work. then i found a maxi 40 amp fuse under the dash and it was blown so i replaced that and it still wont start. what am i missing? can anyone help me?
