Default A4 electrical problems

Hi,
Just wondering can anyone help with the problem I have with my 2001 A4 1.8T. I'm selling the car and buying an S3 but there's a problem with the electrics in the car and I need to get it sorted before selling. The central locking on the drivers door doesnt work, I have to use the key to lock that door, the electric mirrors and windows don't work either. I've checked the fuses and they seem to be ok, has anyone any ideas or has the same thing happened to anyone before?

Thanks

well the door lock could be a vacum issue as they work via a pump (in the boot) so if the pipe is bent or got a hole it wont work and as you have a issue with the mirrors I would say take the door card off and have a look for problem where the loom enters the car.

Yeah, I got it sorted, it was the control unit in the door that was gone, wasnt a big job for them to fix. They'll probably check the wiring too, it'll likely be one or the other.
