Default Stubby Pass. Side Mirror

Is it just my car, as ive never seen another A4 with a full size side mirror on the driver side, but a stubby mirror on the passenger side??

Whats the purpose of this??

Anyone want to trade?? Haha

It kind of bothers me, haha... if I look at the car head on from a little distance, it looks like the right mirror is folded in....

Also sucks because one corner of the glass is discolored, which shrinks the usable mirror even more!
