The pass. side mirror is smaller because you don't need as big of a mirror to see at the same capacity as the driver's side. Thou it would be nice to be able to see more, incase of blind spots

Just fit a bigger mirror not a prob but if like some you like the stubby you can buy an aftermarket unit.
