Early 99 a4 indicator issues ?????????

Hi all wondering if anyone can help, i have a pre facelift 99 a4 1.8T and my indicators and hazzards have died, replaced BOTH blown fuses tried again and it blew them both again !. Only way i`ve got them going is much higher rated fuses (dodgy i know) . Any ideas ????????

sorted it turned out it was the relay in the hazard switch £20 scrappys - £15 Audi !!!!! Go figure ???
