A4 Assorted Problems.

My A4 1997 (P) 1.8 SE arrived today. Since driving it i have noticed faults i didn't notice on the test.

1) Oil temp gauge deflection is very slight.

2) Temp gauge only quarter of travel when driving. when idling it will reach the half way mark

3) struggles at low rpm and has a slight hesitation

4) can't lock steering wheel

Can Anyone Help Please??

I would say a full service may help here like plugs, oil filter, oil and air filter and check all the air lines as they can crack as they get old and brittle.
