Default High polished rims

This is what my rims look like now after high polishing them last week. Shows you the high quality alloy that Audi uses - not many stock rims will polish up like this.

Default Not chromed

This is'nt chrome - they were hand-sanded right down to bare alloy, taking off top silver coat and yellow base coat, finishing with 500 water paper - then high speed machine polished. Only problem is they cannot be clear-coat sprayed because the high shine will cause the laquer to peal off. So if weekly polishing with autosol becomes a drag, I'll have the shine sanded off and then clear laquered. Won't shine as good but easier maintenance.
