Chucking Sound
Hi, I just picked up a 97 A4 1.8T Q from my folks, who did a good job taking care of it (after they burned out the turbo 1 time, back in 2000). They learned their lesson and took care of it after that. Anyways, when I start the car up it makes a chucking sound like that of an 80's Benz or a deisel VW Rabbit. I think the noise goes away when I hit the gas, but it could just be engine reving too loud for me to notice it. Anyone else have this problem / know what might be the cause?
btw. It's got 88K miles and no mods. (not yet at least...  ) |
