Retro Fit A3 Remote Cental Locking

Hi people i have a 1997 A3 TDI which doesnt have R/C locking, i have purchased and after market RC kit from ebay with flip key etc. The sticking point which i have is working out which wires the open and close signals are sent along. There is 3 plugs going into the pump and i cant find a circit diagram anywhere which will indicate which wires are which. Has anyone else fitted one of these kits? The rest is easy enough to install. Any advice would be great cheers.

you need to get a multimeter tester and hold it on the wires into the pump to find which wire is the power feed.The correct wire to connect will register as 12v when you open or close the door lock.
