hey does anyone know if a vag-com used on an 06 a4 2.0T quattro will work on a 98 a4 2.8L quattro? i need these codes to go away before inspection, short ram intake set off the check engine for my air flow sensor, air bag light is on and the abs,brake lights are also on!!!!!

im sure the vag will work on your car as i work for audi.i can tell you clearing the codes will not help you pass inspection.your brake lt and abs lt are probably a faulty module and will come back on more than likely.but even if you get to the inspection place without any lts on they are able to go into the ecm to ck readiness codes and if there not set they will fail you

well my friend just bought an 06 a4 2.oT and he installed an intake and it set off a code, so he cleared it, he just bought the vag-com for like $350 and he has it hooked up to his lab top. i'm hopeing it'll work,but if it doesnt, how much would a module cost me?
