Diverter Valves...

hey everyone...i have an evolution diverter valve...my buddy keeps asking me to listen to my car to hear the difference...however, i hear nothing. are you even supposed to hear a huge difference, or any difference at all? or only with some DVs and not others?

will a Forge 007 DV make a difference in sound? my buddy says it does on his Vdub

how did he mount his DV and how did u mount yours, does your friend have a intake also, and u kno our DV is positioned in the front of the car and teh VWs are up closer to the wind shiled, but if u hear like a blow off noise and ur friend has an after market intake then its most likely the intake makin the noise

he says he mounted his DV in the reverse direction and yes, he has a neuspeed p-flow intake. i assume those are the reasons why.
