What Is This Button?

New to the board! hello all! I just found a button next to the drivers seat between the front and rear door..... what is this??? What does it do???

i belive, but im not sure. that button is for the security system. when you leave your windows down, press that button and then lock it. then the alarm shoulnt go off when the wind blows

Yep, that's what it does. It's supposedly for pets. that way you can leave windows down for your pet and they won't set off your alarm.

yeah....audi's are equipped with sort of like a motion sensor...if you leave the windows open and you lock the car and then stick ur hand in there or the wind blows hard the alarm will go off... so that button shuts off the sensor .

sh*t man all this time I was wondering why my alarm was going off for no reason with the windows down.
