Common 1999 Audi A4 1.8t Problems

Hi everyone,

Can everyone please list me the car problems they had on their 1999 Audi A4 1.8T because I'm thinking of buying one at 90,000 miles and after reading a few post, I just scared I have to spend a lot more money on the maintenance?

timing belt should be changed pretty soon, if it hasnt already. other than that, make sure the car has had regular maintance ..

Can you please elaborate on regular maintance such as the things I need to do to the car? I know that the oil has to be changed, but major things like oil pump, water pump, more belts, etc...?
