i just brought home a 1999 avant 2.8 and discovered an oil puddle under the center portion of the wagon. can i check auto trans fluid as the manual says nothing about tranny fluid only engine oil. it might be motor oil but it seems to be alittle further back than the engine?only has 46k on it

best bet is to get the car up on a rack and locate where the fluid is coming from
