Where's The Roof Release On A 1995 2.6e Please

Hi guys,

Had a great day out in my new toy with the family. Only minor irritation was when we parked up to go for a walk the roof didn't work!

Mine is the model before the electric roof and so is manual bar the pushing of a button inside the drivers door.

This has failed and the local audi dealership only had sales reps available! The local mr fixit is obviously enjoying the sunshine with his family and so only me and the web to find out how we trigger the roof release before night fall.

Where will I find the little blighter? Help!

Hi,
if your sliding roof is broken down, use the crank.
