Should I Chip My Audi

i have a 1999 a4 tdi 110 , and i am thinking about getting it chiped. But as i dont wont to waste money i would like any feed back of any1 who has got a chiped a4 diesel to tell me if there is any performance difference.Also i would like to now the best brand of chip to use if i was to buy 1 and the price if poss.

I have a tuning box fitted and this ups the bhp by about 30%. With this and an induction kit fitted there is a huge difference in torque on the motorways!

Has anyone had any reliability issues shortly after (ie within 6 months) their S4?

Blown motors etc..?

I'm debating chipping mine as well, Mine has 87k miles.

i'd say go for it, i've had the GIAC chip w/ flashloader in my allroad (same engine) for about 5 months with no problems whatsoever.

if you take care of the car you should be fine
as long as u do regular maintence
warm the car up properly
and give good cool downs for the engine you should be ok

and dont drive aggresivly 24/7
