I have a 98 A4 1.8T / Q with 55K miles- needs clutch replaced (at least per Downtown LA motors mechanix)- They quoted me $1600 parts & labor, plus another $500 for new engine mounts (!) Any suggestions would be appreciated, i.e., this seems expensive-anyone familiar with / good experience with L.A. area mechanics on this kind of job. THANKS
