Hi Guys,

I have an Audi A4 1.8T 2001, today the engine management light came on and blinked repeatedly. At the same time, the engine was running very badly with what felt like misfires. This seems to happen after acceleration, and at constant (>60MPH) speed.

I am going to examine the plugs, leads amplifiers etc... Should I look for anything specific? I've read about the coilpack problems, and wondered if they might be faulty - where are they, and how do I test them?

Any help, gratefully received.

Thanks.
