i have a '99 2.8 Quattro....is the air conditioner compressor located on the front lower right of the engine?if so the drive belt is slipping on the clutch assembly.is that normal?does it only engage when the AC is turned on?even though i set the temp to its lowest setting the clutch does not engage the compressor.i guess that means the compressor is shot.please respond with any information.
