Audi A4 Lose Power

[font=Arial][font=Arial][font=Arial]hi every one its nice to know theres some help out there for me i have a a4 110tdi but every now and then i lose almost all power i have change the air meter but it didn't make any difference so if any ideas would be greatfully recieved

it could be the cat convert if it is ceramic they crack and break when they age and turn so they block the exhaust and cause a lack of power when driving then if they shift back into place the power returns.

Did this help by the way - were you @ - come reply, i'm keen on knowing if the catalytic convertor was the problem.
