New, Would Like To Play

Im a med student that wants to get some sort of life back by playing with his 2000 a4 1.8T quattro. Im a new car owner so completely ignorant to automotives, but my audi has left me with a facination for the car and a strong desire to play with and modify it. Question is: where do i get started? I want to jump in and start playing with it, but obviously that would be stupid without guidance. Any suggestions? Books, websites, mags? Particularly focused on the a4.

What do you want to do? Make it look nice, make it faster... That is what you need to ask yourself.

Once you know then you can start reading about that mod here, or in another forum or magazine. I like European Car magazine.

Most people like to go with K&N air filter, exhaust, chip, wheels, suspension.
