HI just found this site and thought i would register. I have driven BM's Mercs etc but the audi A4 2.5tdi is the best drive.
I moved from the UK to Melbourne about 8 months ago but the car has been in a garage in Manchester UK for this time. So after a few months deliberation I have decided to bring it to Melbourne.
Audi as yet dont have A4 diesals here so not sure what the score is with servicing etc - If Audi want to overtake BMW and Merc here then they need more people like me here in australia. Lets hope the dealer network is better here than in the UK - they really were rip off merchants (in my humble experience)

Hi there and welcome to Oz.

Just joined the site myself. Interesting to read your comments re the Audi dealer network and hoping that they are better than the UK. I have just bought an A4 from the dealer in Cairns and would notjing but good things to say, not only about the sales manager but also the dealer principle and all other staff. When looking at what to buy, I considered the BMW, Benz and also the Lexus. My final decision came down to the fact that I new the Audi dealership here would look after me.

Hope you get the same in Melbourne

jpc is on a distinguished road
Thumbs up Welcome to Melbourne

Hello there I have just registered myself after googling an issue I am having with my wife audi 80. In regards to dealer network, they should look after you, as the service cost from dealership are fairly high and reputation on the line, but there are service centre which specialises in audis around Melbourne. I suppose need to find out which ones provides good service.
Anyway I will keep checking the forum which is great by the way
