Default RS2 Boost issues-help

My M reg Audi rs2 has some real issues.I bought it from a guy who had never got round to rebuilding it after it was vandalised and I have finished the job! However it had some running issues, a few of which have been solved by a new ecu as the old one had corrupted. So the remaining problem is, the car will boost to around 4000rpm then it dumps all the boost as if the car is going into limp mode. Plugged the fault code reader in and replaced barometric pressure sensor, inlet air temp sensor, coolant temp sensor, boost valve(n75) and nothing has fixed it!The car boosts well untill 4000rpm then nothing and I am at a loss.Does anyone know of a common problem with them or how to diagnose a fault with wastegate/dump valve or test voltages for air mass meter as I cant afford to replace everything on the car chasing the problem.
