Hello all,

check out this website Audi R8 Help welcome Page

It is a web site designed to help Audi R8 owners, potential owners and generally anyone who is interested in R8. There is a few information pages there, plus the most important "CONTACT ME" page, where i will answer all your technical queries about the R8. Or simply Email me so i have your details on record so i can email you with news, information or any important updates.

This site is not trying to take away custom from this forum, just making myself known, so that people know there is R8 help out there.

Hello rob,thats funny i am R8 APPROVED and waiting for them to come in for the 23 we have sold so i may be able to help you.I have to maintain r8 for are 5 dealers so iam sure there may be some common ground between us.Cant wait to see some one burn out the clutch on the demos and the reaction r tronic is going to have.I have been contacted today by my dealership(iam on holiday)to have a 10 year ploice check for the ............ system instalation.Hope i am ok, think i have been a good boy.Best Regards Jon

jon, pleasure to meet you. Im sure we will get on just fine... i am also R8 approved for my dealership, and very looking forward to the comming few months. Will do in the morning rob.I must say what a good idea your support site is as there doesnt seem anything going on with audi technical support.I was told on the very brief 3 day course that its good old diss and away you go.Looks like its been put together proper but dreading taking any trim off and realigning those side blades.All good fun.

Another R8/master tech joins the forum,surely we must already know each other,aspecialy A8tech being from north west.Have got 4 R8 to Pdi on monday and fit Trakers to (the150/200TU seem a bit tight to me ?) and this VSIB /security/criminal record seems a pain/over the top.No real problems at the moment ,only radio reception/aerial problem on the demo (rear bumper to come off to get to the aerial).But like you wonder when the first clutch will be needed. and upto know no salesmans rash(kerbing) on any of the wheels P.S.who,s going to the VAS5051B course at Warrington in sept---see you there?

Hey guys, good luck with R8, I've managed to avoid it as our centre is too small, still get to drive the demo though, will be interesting to see how you get on with it. After 10 years, previous to Audi, working on specialist high performance road cars and running a race team I'm in no rush to get into R8 if you know what I mean.
