Default Q7 - second row seats

Hi there - looking at purchasing an 09 Q7 TD3.0 here in Australia, but the first thing I noticed is the middle seat in the second row is quite narrow and quite hard. We have 3 kids ( ages 6-13) and do a lot of driving to weekend homes > 2 hrs in the car with a full luggage compartment so not able to use the 3rd row seats.

Are there any other Q7 families here that have a similar experience and how do you find the seating for 3 kids across the second row, particularly for longer trips?

I find the seat hard but i do not think that it is narrow. However, you could solve this problem by moving your kids around during stops for gas or whatever. You could also take a pillow to sit on or some foam.

I have three kids as well. 14, 12 ,7 and they all sit on the second row. and there are no fights or problems at all. They all love the car.

it is the best family car I have owned.

I just Love it.
