Q7 3.0L Sline - Exhaust finishers

Hi everyone, First post.

Took delivery of my 3.0L TDI Sline back in September and since then one thing has reaaly begun to annoy me.

The 4.2L gets nice polished exhasts whilst the 3.O TDI gets the two proverbial stainless steel drain pipes. Are there any after market exhaust finishers available, looked on the Web and there is a company in the US that sells them but I guess they are geared towards the US Market and am I right in assuming they are petrol models?

I guess I have a slight fetish for polished exhausts and looking at the two dirty things sticking out of the back of the car is the only blot on what is a great vehicle.

New to Audi-Forums. I cant agree more, what is up with no rolled tips on a car this expensive?? Even Hyundai's have rolled tips.... I actually took one of the tips off and brought it to a custom exhuast shop to get a tip welded on. They couldnt find anything that would fit. Does anyone have any affordable options/info? The V8 tips from Audi are incredibly expensive, aftermarket catback exhausts are incredibly expensive.... Found some exhaust tips on ebay but they are located in Hong Kong.
Anyone...I realize this thread is only about 6 months old...

Having visited by local Audi dealer last week, I saw a 3.0 TDI with polished exhaust tips, same as you get with the 4.2. on querying it with the sales staff, it has only recently been released by Audi and costs £73.00 for the pair.

These are not the disgusting 45 degree down angled pipes that Audi havi in the accesories brochure or the flat bottomed off road pack tips.

They are also being sold on Ebay by an Audi dealer.

Thats a great price. There is a US Audi Dealer selling the tips for $380 plus shipping right now on ebay.... If you can find a link to the seller 73 euro? it would be appreciated.
