Hi Mark thanks for the reply Great minds think alike (don’t finish it!) Already shot an email of to Superchips.
When I contacted Upsolute about it this is what they replied.
“The new Audi Q7 has a MED17 ECU inside. This is a new generation of ECUs. The previous ECU generation can be tuned, but for the newer generation there is no tuning possible at moment.
We are working for a solution but it may take a few month until we can offer a tuning for this type of ECUs.”

So it will be interesting to see what Superchips have to say

Finally got around to running VAGCOM on my re-mapped Q7. No error messages reported to do with the engine management. I think it all looks dealer friendly now.

People keep asking me about the fuel economy. Initially my fuel economy increased by a whopping 0.1mpg. However, as I do a lot of town driving I would say this is probably about -0.2mpg now I have been running it for a while.

The performance and driveabillity far outweigh the slight drop in fuel economy. Lets be honest, you don't buy a 2.5 ton behemoth and expect 50mpg.

Hope this info helps!

I used Superchips Bluefin - like most footballers seemed to have who own a Q7

Claims for improved MPG may be overstated but then it does depend on how you drive. Recent long haul on holiday to southern Europe saw 28.9 average for 3000 miles. So maybe it does do what it says on the tin

Around town and short trips - not much difference to be honest - except it goes rather well.
