Hi,
Can anybody give me details on where I can buy VAG COM and associated leads. I assume it is just a piece of software that you load into a laptop, or is it a piece of hardware? I have a few issues (like central locking & Euro driving) and I was hoping to try to resolve these issues without a visit to the dealer. Thanks for your help. Mark ![]() |

Thanks for replying so quickly and with valuable information. One more idiotic question, please. Before I purchase I want to check what socket I have in my car (Oct 2006 Q7 3.0 TDI S-Line), so I would like to know where this interface is located.
Thanks again. Mark ![]() |

It's located half way between the accelerator pedal and the rotary light switch on the dash. If you start at the light switch and follow the dash curve down to the pedal you should find it. I bought a Vag-Com from Ross Tech. You can down load the software from this site http://www.ross-tech.com/
