Default Headlight adjustment for European driving

I read somewhere that it is possible at the change of a lever in the headlight unit to convert from UK to European headlight position - is it true? Where is this lever?

Cheers jon but seems as if it's gonna be a trip to Halfords for the headlight stickers.
Should be fun lining them up as have the self-regulating halogens.
Anyone who has any tips on this i would be grateful to hear them.

A94-10311.pngA94-10310.pngA94-10006.pngthe second picture is the sticker for b6 s4 halogen, and the first is for b7, this is how you do it (example here is b7)Headlight (driver's side):– Count the vertical lines on the headlight lens up to the 12th line (starting from inside of headlight and working towards wing panel). Mark this line on the headlight lens with a water-soluble felt-tip pen.– Remove protective backing from masking foil for headlight.– Apply the masking foil flush with the top edge of the headlight lens.– Apply the masking foil on the headlight according to the markings, as shown in the illustration. (passenger's side):– Count the vertical lines on the headlight lens up to the 8th line (starting from inside of headlight and working towards wing panel). Mark this line on the headlight lens with a water-soluble felt-tip pen.– Remove protective backing from masking foil for headlight.– Apply the masking foil flush with the top edge of the headlight lens.– Apply the masking foil on the headlight according to the markings

Sorry to wade in with another question on this thread but what happens if you have adaptive headlamps, as I do. Surely the stickers won't cover enough of the area?

If you have vag com then enter 55 (headlight control) and then adaptions.Select channel 10 and enabel tourist mode by changing the 0 to 1 and the dash display should indicate the adjustment has been carried out with the headlight warning symbol.Reverse to 0 on returning to your country.

Default adjustment of US to EU lights

Similar question - for making my USA version of Q7 - (Swiss) EU compliant

I try to speak to dealers however seems like they don't know so I try here - what needs to be done to change DOT to ECE - or '07 Q7 comes with BUX (Built Up eXport or ECE style lamp) ?

Does it require to change all back/front lights to have "amber" there ?

it is possible and does it needs to be re-codded to ECE by Audi garage - any idea ?

I think I need ECE/EEC (E14) [e14] - Switzerland - coded

Thanks in advance.

Piotr
