New 08 Q7 cant answer phone

I just brought home the new Q7 and while the bluetooth picked up my phone Ok, it won't answer incoming calls. The car rings, it shows the incoming number at the top and at the bottom it looks like another incoming call is showing as unkown.

The selection choices are replace or ignore but not answer.

Any advice?

What phone make and model are you using?

tried both my Motorola Q and my wifes Q9m and they both had the same result

There is no mention of the "Q" or the "Q9m" on the current tested list only for the "Q9" which must have firmware version q2-bp_c_04.08.xxp to fully function.

Have you tried pressing the steering thumb wheel to answer? Also have you tried pressing the answer button on the phone itself to see if the sound is routed through the car?

Yes, the call comes through the system on the car if I answer it on the phone but their is no option to answer it on the car. The thumbwheel only scrolls the same choices on screen so that does not work either.

Have you tried just pressing the thumbwheel without scrolling or looking at any screens? I'm fairly sure it will work. I never look at anything when I answer, just press.

Just pressing the thumbwheel only selects what is on the screen anyway. Whether I scroll/look at it or not makes no difference.
