Crewe Audi tell me that the ECU is generating no error codes at all, they just keep replacing and it dies overnight.
They have apparently escalated this to ingostadt technical support on Monday, and haven't had a reply yet.
This is costing me £42.00 per week to upgrade my blue light insurance to cover my courtesy A4 (manual -- I'd forgotten how to drive one of those), crewe are being as good as they could be. I'm losing faith in Audi though.

Any help advice? Anyone?

Phoned Audi, the unit is not generating fault codes - -just dying every night. Escalated to Ingolstadt, 3 weeks off the road now. Getting pissed off had a Q7 been left with an A4 -- with a manual gearbox -- reliving my youth which I hated anyway
Help

be patient, just to inform you that Q7 has too many gadgets that many times causes problems like yours.
Anyhow has also less problems than ML & X5.
Try to be more tough against your dealer....

Apparently no error codes are being generated -- it just dies every night. Phone module (4th ECU and Phone module not functional) they have had the car 3 weeks and Ingolstadt is involved. They have lent me an A4, with gears!
Help
Anyone

I've an '07 Audi 2.0 S-Line Advant and the battery has just started to go flat over night (in under 5 hours!) And my bluetooth car kit says "no telephone kit installed" when you press the TEL button on the MMI and they have no idea whats going on either

Default Good Luck

Crewe Audi have phoned to say that someone from Germany is coming to look at the car -- they may have to ship it to Germany.
To Crewe Audi's credit they are supplying me with a new Q7 for the duration of repair and even paid for the insurance transfer and any temporary blue light installation for my response work.
I'll be glad to see the back of the A4 courtesy car after 3 odd weeks.

They could simply by pass the telephone control unit and put the bus system to sleep and carry out a battery drain test.If there is no drain with the telephone system disconnected and decoded from gateway then the phone syatem(control unit is the likely cause)or carry out loop break diagnosis to eliminate the most bus crash.

I would say crew audi will be vivisted by tech support from audi uk first and telediagnosis with the factory. It is very unusual for a factory visit t the uk and far more likely to be some one from audi uk who will investigate the issue and possible doner car to transfer control units to elliminate causes.Any way try and get a diagnosis log as this willhave enviroment details and battery management history indicating when and how and what is at a fault.
