Hi

Has anyone "chipped" / remapped a 3.0tdi Q7 and if so was it worth it ?

Worth every Penny, I had a run back from Reading this week with a Porsche Carrera (05 plate) he was so impressed with the cornering ability and the take off from the lights, of my Q7 he pulled over at a set of lights and got out to talk to me about it.

We were fairly even in to and around the corners - but i had to pull over after exiting a roundabout obvious straight line difference, but we had a great throw around!

God knows how my tyre scrub will look like now, but hell was it fun.

so which chip did youll use? did it decrease fuel consumption at all

Its now been chipped by Superchips of Buckingham using their Bluefin System.
It adds about 41 hp and 90nm of torque.
It is a little quicker off the mark but once moving the difference is more noticeable. Changes down in a split second and pulls like a train.
Would highly recommend.

Fuel consumption should go up but at the moment I am caning it a bit because its fun !
