Smile New Owner Say's Hello

Hi All,

Just picked up my Q7 last Wednesday and thought I'd say Hi to everyone on the forum and post up a few photo's of my new beasty.

I have got to say this is such a fantastic car, after driving it for a couple of days now, I'm completely smitten. Can't believe the handling for such a big car.

I almost got a Touareg V10 TDI, but in the end was won over by the Q7, the Touareg is a great car I have a lot of respect for it, and was especially attracted by the V10 TDI lump, but in the end the Q7 is in a different league, there is something special about it that I was not feeling from the Treg. You have to love the Audi's interiors too. Perhaps a remap will be on the cards to at least get halfway to the V10's figures though.

I got an ex demo, registered in Jan 2007, but unfortunately built first week Nov 2006, so lacks the MP3 CD Changer which was a bit of a dissapointment, so I am definetly going to retrofit the AMI as soon as it is avaliable.

It also has the 20 spoke S-Line wheels, which is the only Q7 I have seen them on as of yet, was not sure at first from photos/brouchure, but they do look great in the flesh, so I'm really pleased with them, they seem to go really well with Mugello Blue.

Anyhow, will see you about on the forum, I'll update you on progress after a while, only good things I hope, as the Q7 forums do not seem to have too many complaints.

Off to Scotland tomorrow to visit family, so looking forward to 800+ miles to get better acquainted with my new toy! Can't wait.

Cheers,

Michael

Talking Nice

I am also a new Q7 owner. Just picked it up last week. We also have an A4 sport which has been great for the past couple of years so I am hoping I have the same luck with the Q7.
