Looks great, what colour is it???

I'm in the process of deciding what to buy from the following;

Audi Q7 (3.0/4.2 TDI)
BMW X5
Rangr Rover Vogue TDV8
Range Rover Sport TDV8

Why did you swap from your Range Rover?

I had the Range Rover 2 years and to be fair it was great, i was thinking of buying the new TD8 but after a test drive and the increase in cost and also the very poor trade in offer that Land Rover gave me the Q7 won hands down,

After having the Q7 for only a week i can confidently say i made the right decision, the car has bags more power handles 100% better and looks and feels great, added the bonus of 7 seats and it wins hands down.

I test drove the 3.0tdi with the 21" wheels and found the larger wheels made the ride a little bouncy for my likeing. Otherwise great drive. I have ordered the 4.2tdi as it ticks al the boxes, i.e out performs the Range Rover, the build quality compared to the Discovery 3 that I just sold after 2 years of ownership is in a different league,it has 7 seats and even with all the toys I have added to it (and bellieve me the list is endless)is still better value than the RR and Beamer.

Cant wait to get behind the wheel of it, hopefully early june

Regards

Dexter

PS WRAITH Go for the Q7 4.2. I know I only had the DISCOVERY 3 but basically the electrics are the same as the Range Rover and although mechanically it was faultless, electrcally, it was a nightmare. Just really irritating little things e.g the side mirrors would stay in the reversing mode when you changed back to drive mode, sometimes it would not lock after the predetermined time, as it should.

Happy motoring
