Just updated my UK Q7 MMI Software from 2860 to 3460

Just finished updating my Q7, took 20mins total.

Only two changes I could see were

Battery Meter gone
3D View in Nav added....and thats it

Is this something you can do you without going to the dealers, and if so how do you acquire the disc.
3D map would be nice never thought much about the battery level - we never do until your car wont start, lol.

Got the disc from a guy over on the NavPlus board

Yeap, you can do this yourself.

I'm going to host the iso file myself ( just uploading it ) so drop me a PM if you want to download it

Well done Si, I take it you didnt get the 2007 Disk free via your Dealer then!

Mine is in on Monday with the Dealer to unlock the Nav-DVD , sort out the paint chipping off the parking sensors, and Near side wing mirror locking half way up in park mode.

Whats up with your oil light then?

Let us know if you find any other differences - faster Nav route selection for example.

Your right, as of yet, I haven't had the disc removed but to be homest now I've had this update done I now have the 3D sat nav I won't so aren't bothered about the updated disc.

The other reason I wanted the update was so I was prepared for retro fitting AMI which is my next project

No other differences spotted yet but I'll report back if I do.

Looks like my car has no oil at all.....Just been to my local $tealer and they check everything but could fine no leaks, they put the problem down to the supplying dealer not checking the oil level before delivering it so I just had it topped up. Hopefully nothing serious.

Hi I am new th the forum I have a Q7 and would like to undate the to 3460 and can you help.

Also does anyone know if audi is releasing a stereo bluetooth upgrade (A2D I read an article saying that this may be released soon. this would allow me to play the MP3 files on my phone through the MMI any Ideas..

How can you tell, if you are in CAR, VERSION, what version of the software you have?

Does anyone know the part number of the AMI retrofit kit? ( if available)
