Cool Just hello to you all

Hi all,
I ordered my Q7 on 2nd Feb 2007 and expect delivery in April maybe end of March. It's my first 4x4 as a wheelchair user and slightlly nervous because of getting my w/c in and out. Anyway nice to meet you all and please feel free to ask me any questions as I may ask some soon.
Regards Lewin

Welcome to the Q7 Owers club Lewin.

I'd be interested to know why you choose the Q7, I'm assuming you have a large family to carry around ?

Post up the model/Colour/Options etc you ordered

Where in the country are you ?

Si

Thumbs up

Hi Si,
Why I chose the Q7 - quite a few really, let me list the reasons I can think of looks, I like big cars, it's high driivng position, not too many about, all reviews about it seem to be good and when I first saw it in my rear-view mirror it was WOW !
No to your assumption as I'm single but I do have a wheelchair.
I'm in West London.
I'll post model & spec later once I get the order form out and have a look, I know roughly but I want to be correct.
Lou

Had word today that ours is now ready to ship. Should be with my dealer by next weekend and will pick up a couple of days after that.
Really looking forward to finally having it on the drive!

Will post up the pics as and when we pick it up. Spoke to the dealer again yesterday and it's looking like the car will be arriving with them on Monday now so allowing a few days to prep the car we should have it latest end of next week.

Specs as follows,
3.0TDi S-Line
Pearl black metalic
Technology pack
Visibility pack
Memory front seats
Heated front seats
Verona Leather
Advanced key
Bluetooth 2
Bose
Privacy Glass
Advanced parking
Double glazing
AMI
Comfort armrest
Manual blinds
21" Wheels

Much slimmer wallet!!!

Hiya Si,
Now that I've had a chance to list the extras, just realized I may have got a little carried away

Bluetooth 2 is cooler than my plain vanilla flavoured bluetooth in my A4 Cab. Unlike the normal bluetooth, B2 has complete access to the users sim address book and draws less of the phones power virtually putting the phone into sleep mode while it does its thing.

I never saw this Bluetooth 2 option when I spec'd my car. Was it an extra on the options list or just included in the Comms Pack for newly built cars ?

I guess I could download the PDF from Audi's website and take a look.

How much was this option ?

Does your car have the rare MP3 changer ?

Just downloaded the PDF from Audi's website
http://www.audi.co.uk/etc/medialib/c....0007.File.pdf

This clearly shows that new ordered cars today get MP3 CD Changers and SIM access profile Bluetooth kits.

The big question for me is why don't I have either of these as I was told me car build date was late November.

Got a call in to the dealer to find my exact build date
